APPLICATION - HOW TO USE:
Surface Preparation: Concrete/Cementitious Substrates:
All substrates should be dry (maximum 75% RH), clean and sound. DPM's should be
installed and intact. Vacuum blasting, or similar is preferred on all smooth or
dense surfaces. Thorough acid etching should be considered when the above cannot
be used.
Mixing:
Each pack shall be mixed for a consistent time to minimise colour differences.
All mixing should be carried out mechanically i.e slow speed drill and suitable
paddle for pack size. Mix for at least 4 minutes, scraping down sides
occasionally to ensure complete mixing. The individual components shall be
pre-stirred to ensure no separation or settlement remains.
Application:
Apply by brush or medium pile roller (not foam) ensuring surfaces are evenly
covered. Avoid pinholes by applying second coat at right angles to the first.
Second coat should be applied within 24 hours of the first. Pay particular
attention to edge and joint details.
Cleaning of Tools:
Immediately after use all tools and mixing equipment should be cleaned with
THINNERS.
Lower Temperature Use:
If air and substrate temperatures are not maintained above 10°C during the first
48 hours of curing, this may result in water marking/blooming.
Joints:
Expansion and movement joints must be carried through the coating. Coat up to,
but not over, joint sealant.
Gloss Finish:
Gloss finish may be inconsistent where substrate porosity is variable. For best
effect, ensure prepared surface is even and free of irregularities as these can
be highlighted due to the glossy finish achieved.
Vertical Applications:
Avoid heavy coat applications to prevent sagging. (Careful application by brush
is recommended on vertical detailing such as coving.)

eye/face protection. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after use.
